🛥️ Bay Harbor Heats Up as New Condo Projects Break Ground

Driving the news: The small town of Bay Harbor Islands is becoming a hotspot for condo development, with nearly a dozen projects proposing 400 residential units since 2021. Recent milestones signal major progress for this upscale enclave of 6,000 residents.

Details:

• La Baia North: Continuum Company broke ground on this eight-story, 57-unit tower at 9481 East Bay Harbor Dr. Units start at $1.4 million, with completion expected by 2027.

• La Baia South: Continuum secured a loan for its eight-story sister tower at 9201 East Bay Harbor Dr. Both towers will offer a combined 50,000 square feet of amenities.

• The Signature Collection by La Maré: Regency Development Group's nine-unit, ultra-luxury project at 9781 East Bay Harbor Dr. is underway. Priced from $3 million, it includes a marina for yachts up to 45 feet and is set to be completed by 2026.

Why it matters: This development surge highlights Bay Harbor’s growing appeal, but also raises questions about how its already-congested roads, Kane Concourse and Collins Avenue, will handle increased traffic.
