Happy Friday Miami!!
What some of us could call a "wish and prayer" is now actually coming to life. Last week the Miami Dade Department of Transit held a public meeting to discuss the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit (SMART) Program.
Once completed, the SMART Program will:
Expand to five new corridors of Miami (including Miami Beach)
Reduce transportation-related emissions
Significantly increase transit ridership
Improve travel time and reliability
