🤖 Uber Eats Partners Up With Coco Robotics: Coco Robotics expands Uber Eats partnership to Miami-Dade County. Coco began operations in Miami mid-February, expanding to more neighborhoods. Global delivery robot market expected to reach $770 million by 2029.

🏙️ Oceanfront Condo in Sunny Isles Beach for $140 Million: Developers to buy Miami Beach Club condo for $140 million. The 108-unit condo is at 19051 Collins Ave. Deal expected to close this summer.

🚕 Downtown Miami’s Freebee circulator is heading to Brickell: A free electric shuttle service that’s been a hit in Downtown Miami is expanding into Brickell later this year, aiming to improve transit access and ease congestion with help from new state funding.

🚙 Brickell in Line for its Own Circulator Transit System

Driving the news: After logging over 23,000 riders since late 2023, Miami’s free Downtown Circulator is expanding into Brickell — backed by fresh state transit funding.

Details:

• The service is a partnership between the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and Freebee

• Riders use a mobile app or hail a five-passenger electric shuttle along the route

• Key downtown stops include Kaseya Center, Brightline’s MiamiCentral, Bayside Marketplace, and Miami Worldcenter

• A grant from Florida’s Public Transit Service Development Program will support the Brickell expansion

Why it matters: The Freebee expansion means better connections for thousands of Brickell residents, office workers, and visitors — helping ease local traffic while boosting business access in one of Miami’s fastest-growing areas.

The big picture: The circulator's rapid growth — ridership nearly doubled each month after launch — shows a strong appetite for eco-friendly, on-demand transit in high-density areas.

What’s next: A formal request is out for a permanent service. The Brickell route, expected to launch later this year, would link hotspots like Brickell City Centre, Mary Brickell Village, the Underline, and Metrorail stations.

The bottom line: Downtown’s free shuttle has proven its value — now, Brickell’s about to get in on the ride.
