How to celebrate 305 day this weekend + Mortgage rates drop 😮
Happy Friday!
You might have read about Miami's new area code, 645, but with 305 day happening tomorrow here are a couple things you can do to celebrate the day.
Check out these favorite Miami restaurants
🥪 You can't celebrate 305 day without cuban food. Can't go wrong with the classic spots Versailles and La Carreta
🍣 Free Sushi! On 305 Day, all Pubbelly Sushi locations will be giving away their signature HEAT roll if you post and show your Yelp review. (one per customer)
🍺 Dogfish Head will be hosting outdoor Miami-themed activities all day long at their Wynwood Brewery. Stop by for live music, local artists' meet and greets, $3.05 slushie specials and of course... croquetas!
🎨 And if you're going to be around Wynwood this weekend, here's Everything you never knew about Miami's coolest neighborhood.
Mortgage Rates Fall This Week to 3.76%
After reaching 4% in Feb., the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage dropped lower for the second week, hitting 3.76% from last week's 3.89%. Experts still expect mortgage rate increases this year due to Fed actions, but investors flock to bonds when they get jittery - and that often lowers mortgage rates.
How to Hire the Right Agent for You
Join me every Friday for a 'Cup of Joe' on Instagram Live. This week I talked about how to hire the right agent for YOU.
This isn't to say that I'm the right fit for you necessarily I just want to point out a few things that you should look for
1/ You know that feeling when something just feels right? The shoe fits, the throw pillow matches the color scheme.. make sure the agent *feels* like the right fit. Trust your gut!
2/ Look for someone with the heart of a teacher - Now more than ever (as in this market more than any market I've sold in), it is so, so important to be educated about the market, the process and what to be prepared for before you ever step foot into MLS ;)
3/ Social Media Savvy- Let me preface this by saying by no means am I suggesting that you need a real estate agent who has gone viral on TikTok. Not at all! But I believe social media is a critical tool for agents to be using.
4/ Are they a local agent? Do they have knowledge of the area (& market) your home is located in? Understanding the market for strategic pricing as well as being aware of local hot spots, amenities and attractions is essential to your home sale success!
Ready to make a move? I'd love to interview to be the agent for you!
