Happy Friday, Miami!

In this week’s update:

⭐️ Nobu Brings Signature Style to Brickell with New 74-Story Tower: Nobu’s first Miami residential tower is coming to Brickell. The 74-story project will feature 300 luxury residences, sweeping views of Biscayne Bay, and a new Nobu restaurant—all wrapped in a design-forward, wellness-focused lifestyle experience.

🍽️ One Dish, One Hit - Cotoletta Expands to South Beach: Cotoletta, the Coconut Grove restaurant known for serving only Milanese veal chops, is opening a second location in South Beach. Founder Andrea Fraquelli says the single-item model builds consistency and community—and Miami diners are eating it up.

💰 Midtown Miami Set for $2B Transformation with Towers, Parks, and Padel: A five-acre site in Midtown Miami is being redeveloped into a $2 billion mixed-use community with residential towers, office space, retail, restaurants, and a world-class racquet and padel club. Designed by Arquitectonica and led by Rosso Development and partners, the project aims to create a walkable, community-focused neighborhood connecting Midtown, Wynwood, and the Design District.

🎥 Is Living in South Beach, Miami REALLY Overrated in 2025?

In this video, I will tell you all about living in South Beach, Miami in 2025 and if living here is really overrated?!

🏙️ Foster + Partners and Nobu Unveil a New Landmark Tower in Brickell

Driving the news: Nobu Hospitality is launching its first-ever residential project in Miami: a 74-story tower at 619 Brickell. The project blends high-rise luxury with Nobu’s signature aesthetic and will include both residences and Miami’s second Nobu restaurant.

Details:

  • The tower will house 300 private residences and 90,000+ square feet of amenities, including a luxury spa, wellness retreat, high-end fitness center, and poolside café.

  • World-renowned design firms Foster + Partners and Sieger-Suarez Architects are behind the look.

  • At street level, the building will feature a circular Nobu restaurant with panoramic views of Biscayne Bay.

  • The project is being developed by 13th Floor Investments and Key International, in partnership with Nobu Hospitality.

Why it matters: For Miami’s Brickell district, 619 Brickell marks another step in its evolution as a global destination for luxury living. The tower blends architecture, hospitality, and wellness into one cohesive space, enhancing the neighborhood’s profile and offering residents a high-touch lifestyle with Nobu’s hospitality DNA.

The big picture: Nobu has long been known for its upscale restaurants and boutique hotels. This expansion into branded residential living in one of Miami’s hottest neighborhoods shows how luxury brands are reshaping urban skylines—offering not just places to stay or dine, but places to live.

By the numbers:

  • 74 stories

  • 300 residences

  • 90,000+ sq ft of private amenities

  • 2nd Nobu restaurant in Miami

Between the lines: Nobu isn’t the first brand to move into high-end residential towers, but its presence brings added cultural cachet. With Foster + Partners leading the architecture and an emphasis on tranquility, craftsmanship, and views, this development could attract global buyers seeking a unique lifestyle blend of design, wellness, and culinary prestige.

What’s next: Expect pre-sales to attract significant interest from international investors and local buyers alike. Meanwhile, the Brickell area continues its transformation from financial center to full-spectrum luxury lifestyle district.

The bottom line: Nobu’s 619 Brickell project is more than a condo tower—it’s a lifestyle statement. With elegant design, world-class amenities, and Nobu’s hospitality touch, it redefines what living in Brickell can look like.
