🧯 Miami-Dade Fire Hydrants: The Los Angeles fire disaster has prompted Miami-Dade officials to analyze how prepared this county is to deal with a similar emergency. The county’s 47,000 fire hydrants are all tested and working, they said, but many areas of the county have no access to hydrants at all.

⭐️ Miami Marlins to Launch Entertainment Center With Multibillion-Dollar Developer
Driving the news: The Miami Marlins unveiled plans to transform the west plaza of LoanDepot Park into Miami Live, a dynamic dining and entertainment hub, slated to open in early 2026.

In partnership with The Cordish Companies, Miami Live will feature indoor and outdoor dining, entertainment spaces, and activities for all ages.
The project is privately financed and will create jobs in skilled trades, marketing, sales, and operations.
Sustainability and inclusivity will be central to the design, including energy-efficient lighting, accessible pathways, and community art.
Miami Live, a dining and entertainment venue planned for the west plaza of LoanDepot Park, is expected to open in 2026.
Why it matters: This new development will establish LoanDepot Park, located in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood, as a year-round destination, benefiting both the local economy and community. The Marlins aim to enhance the park’s appeal beyond baseball season while providing new experiences for fans and neighbors alike.
