It seems like food halls are becoming more and more popular around town however, not all food halls are created equal. Some are destinations in and of themselves, while others are just quick places to grab lunch.

The festival will include eight haunted houses, outdoor scare zones, performances by The Vampire Circus, an area for food and drinks, and "blood carnival games." The Horrorland began as a drive-thru Halloween event at the Aventura mall parking lot during the height of COVID-19.

A Guide to Miami's Top 5 Food Halls (in my opinion)
#1 SHOMA BAZAAR
๐Doral
This food hall is a great place to go if you are looking for a relaxing meal. There are 16 vendors here, so you are sure to find something that you will enjoy. The atmosphere is upscale, but not intimidating. This would be a great place to go with friends on the weekend. $2 to park in the garage.
#2 THE CITADEL
๐ Little Haiti/Liberty City
The Citadel is a fun spot in Miami's Little River neighborhood, with two ways to experience it. You can sit inside the cavernous hall among the vendors, or make an online reservation at the popular rooftop bar. The rooftop bar is especially popular on the weekends and can get crowded, but it's worth it for the great views of Miami and the food options.
#3 MIA MARKET
๐Design District
MIA Market is a food hall in the Design District that has gone through a few names since it opened as St. Roch Market in 2018. The original vendors are still here, serving up their specialties. My favorite is the Lil Hottie chicken sandwich at Coop.
#4 1-800-LUCKY
๐Wynwood
1-800-Lucky is a food hall in Wynwood that offers a variety of Asian cuisines. It's a great place to go for fans of Asian food, or anyone who misses the old vibe of Wynwood. Make sure to check out Lucky Records next door.
๐Miami Beach
The food hall at Miami's Time Out Market features some of the city's most famous chefs, including Jeremy Ford. However, most of these chefs have left the market since it opened in 2019. Ford has opened a new seafood bar concept called Crew-Do in the revised Market, which reopened after the COVID pandemic in 2021.
